Brian James' advanced engineering and innovation have brought user benefits to every area of Tipper trailer design. The engineering team at Brian James Trailers wanted to make a tougher, safer new range of tipper trailers that exhibited our hallmark quality and stable towing performance.
With 'tough and safe' defined as the key design goals, the engineers first brought the bed height down to help loading and tow-ability, then steel lined the deck for durability and low stick. The new range is also fitted with heavy duty electric hydraulic tipping equipment and has a remote control which allows the operator to stand back and safely view the drop zone. Finally, the design allows for the two loading ramps to be placed side by side, helping wheel barrow loaders operate more efficiently and safely. Ramps are also designed for easily loading heavy machinery.
But making trailers tough doesn't have to mean making them heavy; by choosing a very high grade steel, the designers have made the chassis stronger and lighter- which means more load capacity.

- Progressive suspension - Independent suspension with superior ride characteristics and long-term durability.
- Quick release sides - with automatic closing locks, a new in-house designed system provides the best solution.
- Heavy Duty bed - HD phenol ply decking with 2.0mm galvanised steel surface for total durability and avoidance of stuck materials.
- Electric hydraulic pump - Operated by remote control for safe operation. Power supplied by onboard battery c/w emergency jump lead kit.
- Safety stay support - Guarantees safety of service personnel. Easily deployed and conveniently stowed when not in use.
Options
- Axle options - Tippers are available as twin axle, 2.6t or 3.0t or tri-axle 3.5t.
- High mesh sides - Removable 0.8m high side mesh extensions, all around.
- Loading ramps - Aluminium ramps can be used for side loading as well as fully flexible positioning on rear.
- Loading ramps - Available as either a 1.9m or a 2.2m ramp length for very low loading angles. Quiet travelling.
- Datatag - Thatcham TQA accredited and provides a 20% discount on Datatag Trailer Insurance premiums.
- Rear Support stands - Kick down action provides support for loading and unloading in safety, standard with loading ramps.
- Ratchet restraint straps - Heavy duty straps attach to the wheels or provide direct pull.
- Security products - Wheel bar locks, External box locks, Datatag electronic ID transponder.
